Your tour guide from Alexander Travel will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan for a full day trip to Luxor to discover the West and East Bank Tombs & Temples. Enjoy this rich tour around Thebes’ marvelous 4000 year old monuments. Start with a photo stop by the Colossi of Memmnon, then visit the Temple of Queen Hatchepsut who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (the New Kingdom), and The Valley of Kings. There are many kings buried in this valley and you can visit the magnificent tomb of the young King Tutankamon for an additional fee.
Continue driving to the east bank of Luxor to visit the famous Karnak Temples, the largest place of worship in history.
It was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was built from the Middle Kingdom to the Greco& Roman Kingdom, more than two thousand years ago.
Then you will proceed to visit Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx. It was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and dedicated to the God Amun. Luxor Temple is among one of the most beautiful temples built in Egypt.
